Why Public Transport?

Though an ardent lover of motorcycles and cars, I have become an advocate for public transport, particularly in urban localities. Urban areas like Bangalore just cannot accommodate en-number of motorcycles and cars because of their turbulant growth. It is hjgh time every citizen thinks about others than thinking about himself alone.
With mushrooming of private vehicles, roads have become a casualty as they are being converted into parking lots. While a square feet of land in busy commercial localities cost not less than Rs. 10,000, private vehicles occupy thousands of square feet of public property, including the roads, for free. The eventual victim is the hapless pedestrian who does not have enough space to move around within the city.
With these in mind, I have created this blog and shall continue to post my articles and updates regularly.
